Volunteering with CFOOTMAD is a wonderful way to give back to the community, meet new friends, develop new skills, and help preserve and promote the traditions of American folk music and dance. It's also a great way to get to know the other people in the community and build lasting connections.
Help organize and run our regular dance events. Coordinators handle setup, manage the door, coordinate with callers and musicians, and ensure everyone has a great experience.
Support our bands and performers by running sound for our dances! Help set up, operate, and break down sound equipment, ensuring the best possible audio experience for musicians and dancers alike. No prior experience required—training provided!
Serve on our board and help guide CFOOTMAD's mission and future. Board members participate in monthly meetings, strategic planning, and organizational decision-making.
Help spread the word about CFOOTMAD! Assist with social media, newsletter creation, website updates, poster distribution, and community outreach.
Be the heart of our events! Event Support volunteers welcome guests and take payments at the front desk, prepare and serve delicious food, and help with dance setup and cleanup. Your friendly presence ensures everyone feels at home and our dances run smoothly from start to finish. Join us to make each event special and memorable!
